1. Introduction
Protecting the privacy and individual rights of our customers when visiting our website plays a key role in facilitating the secure use of our offers. When you visit Bdot.gr, personal data is collected, processed and used. 3. What is personal data?

We use the Facebook Advertising platform, a Facebook advertising service whereby previous visitors to the website can receive targeted advertising in relation to the pages visited on Bdot.gr on Facebook services such as Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Messenger. When you register and are logged in or when you place an order or when you are logged in and attempt to place an order but do not complete it, we collect, process and use the personal data and information you provide to us within the scope of applicable personal data protection legislation. We may use your product and service details when you attempt to place an order in order to contact you on the information you provided to us when you registered, in which case you provide us with your consent. The information we ask you to provide in order to make the services you need possible is marked as mandatory fields on the forms. Other information is optional. For the conclusion and performance of contracts, we request, as appropriate, contact information such as name, address for delivery and billing, as well as information about the payment method you have chosen. 10. Transmission to service providers
Regarding the operations of Bdot.gr and for the execution of contracts, various service providers work for us, e.g. for central IT services or hosting of Bdot.gr, for payment and delivery of products, or for the installation of hardware, to whom we transmit the necessary data (e.g. name, address) for the fulfilment of their tasks.
Some of these companies work with us as external data processing partners, and therefore only use the data provided in accordance with our instructions. Therefore, we have entered into agreements with these companies referring to taking security measures and monitoring these measures on a regular basis.
In contrast to external data processing, we transfer data to third parties in connection with the performance of contracts in the following cases:
For the delivery of goods to transport companies and postal service companies, as specified by the placement of the order.
For the payment of goods to the payment service providers you specify when placing the order. In case of payment by credit card, it is carried out through the payment server service provider to the Bank. In the case of payment by PayPal, this is carried out and processed by PayPal (Europe) S.àr.l. etCie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, commercial register number: R.C.S. In the case of payment by electronic bank deposit, it is carried out and processed by the Banking Institution you choose, namely Citibank, National Bank of Greece SA, Alpha Bank SA, Eurobank Ergasias AE, Piraeus Bank SA and any other systemic or non-bank which is not included by name herein.
During the payment process, we do not record or store payment information during that transaction, such as credit card numbers or other banking or other information. You provide this information directly to the respective payment service provider exclusively.
11. Transmission to third parties
Finally, we transfer your data within the scope of existing data protection laws to third parties or official authorities if we are legally obliged to do so by an official directive or court order, or we have the right to do so, for example, because it is necessary for the prosecution of criminal offences, or for the protection and enforcement of our rights and claims.
